Brief

Existing aluminium PIR doors come as a system with the wall panels during initial construction of the factory have showed sign of deterioration and facing functional issues. 

Solution

With our doors already being successfully used at the Kellogg’s facility in Thailand and in the UK. The client was happy to replace all 30 doors in anticipation that any deterioration of the existing aluminium doors can affect the production line activities.

Westlands Milk Products

Brief

Westland were in need of a replacement door for steel doors that had corroded. They wanted to use our GRP hygiene door with smoke seals to meet compliance for both smoke and hygiene.

Solution

Dortek provided our non fire rated hinged doors. The doors provided had GRP frames and door blades with integrated vision panels that were flush on both sides. The GRP doors are seamless non organic door blades which provide high hygiene performance for dairy and nutritional facilities. 

NIG Nutritionals

Brief

NIG Nutritionals required hygienic food grade doors that were fully encapsulated with no organic materials within the door blade. The doors needed to be flush, smooth, easy to clean while also being water resistant as some of the doors were located externally on the drying tower. 

Solution

Dortek supplied our ranges of fire and non fire rated hinged and sliding doors throughout the plant in the dryer, packaging and red line areas. The smooth and non organic GRP doors are ideal for wash and corrosion resistance in the production of infant formula and ideal for meeting high hygiene manufacturing standards. The doors were also required to meet New Zealand fire standards. 

Kerry Foods, Malaysia

Brief

Kerry Foods required hygienic door solutions as part of a refurbishment to replace existing stainless steel doors at the manufacturing facilities in Tampoi and Penang. 

Solution

Dortek supplied hygienic fire rated and non fire rated doors with wrap around Stainless Steel frames which line the existing reveals. Dortek doors are smooth, seamless, waterproof and void free making them ideal for dried milk facilities. 

Fonterra, Indonesia

Brief

Fonterra required hygienic door solutions for its new blending and packing plant in Indonesia. 

Solution

Dortek supplied hygienic fire rated and non fire rated doors across the three facilities. The hygienic, waterproof doors have no seams for dirt or bacteria to grow making them ideal for dairy and infant nutrition facilities.  

Nestle, Philippines

Brief

Nestle required hygienic door solutions, windows and transfer hatches for its new manufacturing facility. The factory it the country’s fifth facility under Nestle and is considered to be among the company’s most advanced worldwide.  

Solution

Dortek supplied hygienic fire rated and non fire rated doors, fire rated transfer hatches and high speed doors across production areas. Our seamless GRP doors are hygienic, easy to clean and do not harbour bacteria making them ideal for food facilities. We also supplied hygienic fire rated windows between the production lines and the wet process areas for maximum visibility across the facility. 

Mead Johnson, Singapore

Mead Johnson required hygienic door solutions for their new manufacturing plant and technology centre.

National University of Singapore, MD1, MD2 & MD6

Brief

Dortek were chosen to supply hygienic GRP doors across the universities new MD1, MD2 and MD6 blocks. MD1 and MD2 comprise a vivarium and research facility

Dortek supplied non fire rated and fire rated doors across the campuses research laboratories and vivarium’s. Our seamless doors are ultra clean, non porous and do not harbour bacteria, making them ideal for university research facilities.

New Zealand Pharmaceuticals

Brief

As part of a refurbishment, New Zealand pharmaceuticals required fire rated doors that complied to the NZ standards (NZS4520:2010). The doors needed to be free from organic materials like timber or laminate for hygiene purposes due to the pharmaceutical grade project.

Solution

Dortek supplied hygienic fire rated GRP doors across manufacturing areas. Our doors unique seamless design and void free surfaces are critical to meeting strict quality standards. The doors were essential for providing fire protection in production areas and minimising the risk of contamination.

RMIT University, Australia

Brief

RMIT, in Australia were renovating their PC2 laboratories in the university, requiring a hygienic door solution that is waterproof, hygienic and corrosion resistant against the cleaning regimes used in the facility. The laboratory had clean and dirty zones where trolled access was required through doorways for cleaning equipment. 

Solution

Dortek supplied hygienic GRP doors and frames which offer water and chemical resistance. The doors were fitted with large vision panels and automations enabling easy trolley and personnel traffic between the laboratories.
