Throughout the year Dortek have continued conducting further fire tests in Europe and Asia in order to strengthen our product offerings for customers.
Les Blennerhassett, Dortek’s Technical Director and his colleagues were in France at the start of the year and in China earlier this month carrying out further 1 hour tests. He commented: “I am delighted with the recent successful tests in Tianjin which were carried out to the extremely stringent Chinese GB-12955 standard.”
According to Les, “this brings our total number of individual fire tests for our doors to over 50 separate certifications, covering large parts of the world”.
Dortek continually invests in new materials and fire tests to ensure that our customers get the best possible door solutions. We’re able to offer the unique combination of both a hygienic and fire rated door for environments where both hygiene and fire protection are priorities. Our fire doors have been supplied in China and throughout SE Asia in infant nutritional and pharma plants.
