As a company which has successfully established itself globally, we are extremely proud to have been based in Hull for the past 49 years.
Hull is a great place to live and work and we continue to invest and grow our business in the city and create good employment opportunities in the region. We’re confident that with this year’s City of Culture celebrations and the new investments, the city will continue to flourish.
The celebrations have already kicked off in a spectacular fashion with breathtaking light shows, illuminating street trails and firework displays. There has been a really positive outlook since the city won the bid and we’re excited about the programme of events lined up for the remainder of the year.
The Hull 2017 programme will see events taking place across the city. The year will be split in to four cultural seasons – Made in Hull, Roots and Routes, Freedom, and Tell the World – each distinctive and intriguing. The aim is to challenge preconceptions about the city and show the many incredible things it has contributed to the world. From theatre, music and poetry to wind turbines and caravans, Hull has long inspired great ideas, great people and great artists. The year-long celebration is an unprecedented opportunity to show how much there is to Hull’s story and to reveal the many new and exciting sides of both traditional and contemporary culture.
