Hermetic Sealing Sliding Doors

Dortek hermetic sealing sliding doors are designed for areas where control of air leakage is critical.

The door has a patented track system so it seals perfectly against the floor and frame.

Air leakage has been tested independently and results up to 400 Pa pressure differential are available upon request.

The efficiency of the seal has been officially tested and results show it to be over 99% effective thus reducing cross-contamination, dirty air entering the cleanroom and expensive air handling costs.

Hermetic Sealing Sliding Lead Lined Doors

Dortek produces seamless, hygienic, lead-lined doors that are ideally suited to hospital and other environments where hygiene and x-ray protection are of utmost importance.

Lead-lined door sets incorporate lead sheeting in a range of thicknesses. This protection extends through the door frames, forming an effective barrier to radiation in all directions.

These doors have a unique patented track system that enables it to seal perfectly when closed helping to reduce air handling costs, cross-contamination and wound infections. Faced with ledge-free HPL they are easy to clean requiring minimal maintenance.

Options include models officially tested with 60 minutes of fire resistance.

Pass Thru / Transfer Hatches

Pass Thru / Hygienic Transfer Hatches

Pass through hatches are often vital to a cleanroom’s efficient operation, whether it is raw materials in, finished product or packed items out or the throughput as part of the manufacturing process.

Hygienic transfer hatches/trolley hatches and are designed to provide a safe and easy way to transfer products or materials between clean rooms and adjacent non-sterile areas.

Dortek’s range of hatches has either electromagnetic or mechanically interlocked doors to prevent depressurisation and minimise the risk of contamination.

The doors are deliberately not sealed in order to allow a small volume of air from the clean side (which is normally at higher pressure) to continuously flush the interior of the hatch. This volume is so small by comparison with room air flows, that it will have no perceptible effect on room pressures.
