The Hamad general hospital is a modern, 603 bed facility. As part of a major renovation the emergency department was transformed in order to reduce patient waiting times and improve patient care.
Brief
The hospital required hygienic door systems for their new accident and emergency department.
Solution
Dortek supplied hinged GRP fire doors and fire sliding doors across the hospital. Hermetically sealing sliding doors were also installed in operating theatres to maximise hygiene and air control. Sliding doors were used to increase space in treatment areas and automations were also installed to minimise the spread of infection.
