The facility is MSD's first stand alone human vaccine project and is part of their network of 6 manufacturing sites in Ireland. Located in Carlow its a state of the art 200,000 sq ft biologics operation which cost €300 million.
Brief
MSD required hygienic door systems for its new state of the art vaccine facility.
Solution
Dortek have worked on similar vaccine facilities throughout the world and were chosen by MSD and the project architects to provide the GRP hinged and sliding doors for high hygiene areas, including electrical and pneumatic automations and sophisticated interlocking systems. Our engineers installed and commissioned all doors as part of a full turnkey system.
