Emergent develops vaccines and antibody therapeutics for infectious diseases and opioid overdoses. The 87,000-sq. ft. Camden facility in Baltimore, MD (USA) provides drug product manufacturing for sterile injectables.
Brief
The facility required hygienic door systems for a $50 million expansion at its Camden facility in Baltimore to increase its contract development and manufacturing capacity.
Solution
Dortek have supplied over 160 FRP doors with Stainless Steel frames and FRP frames across numerous Emergent sites in the US. Dortek’s molded FRP doors are manufactured from fiber reinforced polyester and contain no organic material. With a smooth and seamless construction, Dortek doors have no ledges, recesses or right angles where dust or bacteria can be trapped and grow. Our fiberglass doors are completely water and chemical resistant which makes them ideal for areas with regular and rigorous cleaning regimes.
