Brief

Schoen Clinic needed hygienic door solutions for their new seven storey, private medical facility on Wigmore street, London’s Harley Street medical area. The facility is the group’s first outside of Germany.

Solution

Dortek supplied our specialist doors across the facilities operating theatres, recovery rooms and imaging suite. Our hygienic hermetic doors were specified with 60 minutes fire ratings and x-ray protection. Hermetic sealing sliding doors were installed across the clinics laminar flow theatres. The door has a 99% air tight seal which is designed to reduce airborne bacteria and expensive air handling costs. All Dortek doors are free from timber or other organic materials and designed to prevent bacterial growth and maximise hygiene and cleanability.
