Brief

The hospital required new hygienic door systems for an expansion to accommodate their new operating theatre suites which will allow the trust to be at the forefront of new procedures.

Solution

Dortek supplied hygienic hermetically sealing sliding doors which were lead lined are fire rated. The doors were automated and interlocked with indicator lights to reduce the risk of air contamination. These ultra clean sliding doors meet the required pressure for Operating Theatre and Aesthetic Rooms in line with HTM03-01 more effectively than swing doors. They also make the best use of space and their lead lining accommodates laser and radiology procedures.
