Brief
The RNOH NHS Trust required fire rated hygienic doors to be incorporated into new fire rated partitions which form a new protected means of escape corridor in the spinal injuries unit.
Solution
Dortek supplied 1 hour fire rated acoustic sliding doors throughout the unit. The new automated doors play a crucial role in providing the fire protection and enhancing patient privacy and reducing the transference of infection. Doors were also fitted with vision panels to comply with the equality act. Our doors smooth, hygienic, durable and non absorbent properties make them ideal for healthcare facilities.
