The centre is a world-class water sports facility which compromises a 50m pool, waterpark and health club. The centre hosted the Special Olympics and European SC Championships in 2003.
Brief
The National Aquatics Centre required replacement door solutions for its timber /laminate doors which had started to fail shortly after installation.
Solution
Dortek supplied 1-hour fire-rated hygienic GRP doors across the aquatic centre. Dortek doors are specially designed for wet applications. Their timber free construction means they will not rot, rust or warp even after years of exposure to water and cleaning agents.
