Bracco Suisse focus on Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound (CEUS) imaging and targeted drug delivery applications. Bracco Imaging develops, manufactures and markets diagnostic imaging agents and solutions.
This CEUS is used in x rays, ultrasounds etc. CEUS helps the sonographer and the radiologist see abnormalities in the organs or blood vessels. Doctors use this same contrast agent to better assess the heart.
Brief
The facility required hygienic door systems for its new multifunctional facility which will double the Geneva-based factory’s manufacturing capacity. The development will increase production capacity and improve efficiency and manufacturing processes at the site.
Solution
Dortek supplied hygienic GRP fire rated doors, mainly F30 and F60 doors. Some of these doors had automation (130 degree opening). Also, others had panic bars for emergency exit. Dortek GRP doors are the preferred choice for cleanrooms due to their smooth, seamless surface which does not harbour bacteria unlike alternative laminate, timber or steel doors.
