Brief

AZ required door solutions for their latest project. AZ will spend 285m on a new biologics manufacturing facility in Södartälje, Sweden. The plant will focus on the filling and packaging of protein therapeutics and supplying medicines for the clinical trial programmes of AZ and its Medimmune subsidary.

Solution

Dortek Interdoor supplied this project with hygienic hinged GRP doors with stainless steel frames. Dortek have been working and supplying doors on the AZ site for many years.

Dortek supplied a combination of fire rated and non fire rated doors and they were tested to meet Swedish fire standards. Dortek worked with the design team to provide frame and door systems to meet the clients requirements. This included frame systems flush with new and existing wall types within the facilities, air pressure regimes, access control for security and room entry with card readers. The client had strict door specification requirements with no voids within the door or frame, flush door and vision panels, and good sealing ability of air pressure regimes. All of which the Dortek have many years specialist experience in.
