The MD1 is the final phase of a building programme aimed at providing significant expansion in research, education, student amenities and also modernisation to Yong Loo in School of Medicine.
Brief
The first two phases of the programme were completed with the MD2 Vivarium and the Centre for Translational Medicine (MD6). Dortek were chosen to supply hygienic GRP doors across the universities new MD1, MD2 and MD6 blocks. MD1 and MD2 comprise a vivarium and research facility whilst MD6 is a laboratory and teaching facility.
Solution
Dortek supplied hygienic non fire rated and fire rated doors across the campuses research laboratories and vivarium’s. Our seamless doors are ultra clean, non porous and do not harbour bacteria, making them ideal for university research facilities.
