  • Process Engineer

    Dortek have an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer in Wicklow, Ireland.

    The Process Engineer will provide engineering solutions to support, develop and improve existing and new manufacturing processes. This role involves process support, troubleshooting, process optimisation, new product introduction and plant/material related projects and research in a manufacturing environment.

    They will work closely with the Head of Engineering along with all levels of operations and quality to identify and prioritise material, equipment, process and infrastructure issues. The Process Engineer will analyse equipment issues and identify the actions needed to improve process efficiency and reliability.

    Requirements for this role include:

    • A third level education in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, etc).
    • A min of 2/3 yrs. relevant experience in a relevant manufacturing / production environment
    • Knowledge in manufacturing best practice systems
    • Have, high level, technical English
    • Knowledge of lean/agile manufacturing tools would be an advantage
    • Education/Experience in GRP moulding would be an advantage but is not essential
    • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation, with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Industrial Door Engineers

    Dortek have an exciting opportunity for Industrial Door Engineers to join our team to provide installation, service and maintenance on our range of industrial doors. These are full time permanent contracts based across the UK, with highly competitive salaries. You must be apprentice trained or equivalent and fully conversant with a varied range of products within this industry.

    Requirements for this role include:

    - Experience within the industrial door industry
    - Strong interpersonal skills as there is extensive customer contact
    - You will need to be safety conscious
    - Duties may involve heights
    - Duties will involve heavy lifting and moving heavy objects
    - Willingness to work extra hours
    - Must hold a current driving license
    - Must have a UK work permit
    - Electrical skills & qualifications - Installation & BS 7671, 17th edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations ideally
    - IPAF / PASM
    - CSCS Card.
